About Hadithi

We design journeys through Kenya and Tanzania around the people who are travelling, not around a catalogue.

The Hadithi story

In Swahili, a hadithi is a story told and passed on. We chose the name because a journey is worth more when it belongs to the person taking it.

So we start with questions: who is travelling, what you hope to see, and how you like to spend a day. The route, the pace and the places to stay come from the answers.

From the first message to the last evening, you deal with the people who planned your journey, so nothing gets lost between the idea and the trip.

Why travel with Hadithi

  1. 01

Designed, not picked off a shelf

Every itinerary starts from your answers, not from a template.

  2. 02

    Local knowledge

Routes, pacing and camps chosen by people who know East Africa.

  3. 03

    One team, start to finish

The people who plan your journey are the people you hear from along the way.

  4. 04

    Clear pricing

A starting price on every journey, and a plain account of what is and is not included.

Hadithi moments

Small scenes from the road, the kind that end up as the story you tell afterwards.

First light on the plains
Sundowners after a long drive
A quiet morning by the river
Stone Town at dusk
The sound of the bush at night
Time with the people who live here
The long road back to camp

Let's begin your story

Tell us when and how you would like to travel and we will design the journey around you.
